Prysmian is partnering with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the town of Somerset to bring a state-of-the-art submarine cable manufacturing facility to Brayton Point that will create jobs, boost the region’s economy, strengthen the community, and serve as a hub for clean energy development in North America.

Prysmian is an enabler of the critical energy transition now taking place. Renewable energy resources necessary for the world to achieve its sustainability goals require new technologies, like the submarine cable that will be manufactured at Brayton Point. It will be the first location in North America with the capability to produce these advanced cable products.
